Meet Breanna Wong from University of Colorado Denver School of Business
Breanna Wong is currently a graduate student pursuing her MBA in Healthcare Administration at University of Colorado Denver School of Business.
At UC Denver, Breanna has served as a Student Council Officer for the Health Administration Student Organization. She is an active student member of MGMA, as well as ACHE, HIMSS, and CACHE. Breanna has received a number of merit-based honors. As a 4.0 student, she has received the Dean’s Super Merit Scholarship recipient and Centura Scholar Award Scholarship recipient
Breanna is currently working at a healthcare consulting firm, Physicians’ Ally, offering contracting and compliance consulting for small to mid-sized practices. Previously, she worked in the Research and Development Department for E&J Gallo and at the Boyce Thompson Institute. She is all a second author on a research paper published in Plant Biotechnology
When asked why she participates in BAHM’s Student Activity Committee, Breanna said, “I want to help create opportunities for students in health administration, across the country and beyond, to network and learn from each other and engaged professionals. University of Colorado Denver is excited to be a part of BAHM and I am honored to contribute to planning student activities and furthering fellowship.”
Breanna continued to emphasize the importance of BAHM in the healthcare community: “BAHM is important to the healthcare community because it enables students to see new perspectives, interact with other rising professionals, and benefit from resources around the world.”
Breanna is an exemplary student and a phenomenal leader at UC Denver and on the BAHM Student Activities Committee. We are pleased to have her as an integral part of our community!
