Meet John Pham from Baylor University: Hankamer School of Business

John Pham - Baylor

John Pham is currently a second year graduate student pursuing his MBA in Healthcare Administration at Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business.

At Baylor, John has served as a Business Plan Advisor for the Prisoner Entrepreneurship Program and as a Team Lead for a group of graduate students who traveled to Athens, Greece to consult a local start up business incubator.

John is currently working in Austin, TX as an Administrative Resident with HCA Physician Service’s Group where he works on clinic process improvement, develop growth strategies, and support Senior Leadership. After graduation, John hopes to continue building a breadth of knowledge on healthcare operations and to work on developing innovative ways for health systems to strategically expand patient access to care while also increasing the quality of care they receive.

When asked why he joined the Student Activities Committee, John said, “Healthcare is and will be one of the most complex and challenging issues that our generation will face. With so many different organizations working to innovate and transform the way healthcare is delivered, I believe that there will be a great deal of opportunity for cross-pollination and collaboration. BAHM’s Student Activities Committee will serve as a prime platform to cultivate relationships for likeminded healthcare leaders to begin sharing ideas and best practices for the ongoing improvement of patient care.”

John is an exemplary student leader at Baylor. We are pleased to have him as a member of our Student Activities Committee and our BAHM community!
